More than 55,000 People Participate in Ibercaja’s Activities During the Fiestas del Pilar
Ibercaja recorded participation of over 55,000 people in the activities organized between October 4 and 12 to celebrate the Fiestas in honor of the Virgin del Pilar. The interactive cabezudo game at the headquarters and the exhibition «Aragón, Costume and Canvas» were the most popular attractions during the festive week.
The game that allowed interaction with the cabezudos on screens in the Xcaparate area, located in the digital corner of the Bank’s headquarters, saw more than 40,000 activations. The exhibition «Aragón, Costume and Canvas» welcomed 4,000 visitors.
The Xplora Space distributed 10,000 Pilar bracelets and hosted 100 children and youth in workshops on smartphone photography and activities related to the cabezudos. The new «León Garganchón» and groups of joteros and young singers in Plaza Ibercaja were extraordinarily well-received by children and families.
Ibercaja distributed more than 60,000 tickets for shows held at the Palacio de Congresos Expo, Teatro del Mercado, Teatro Principal, Auditorio de Zaragoza, Colegio Mayor Universitario Virgen del Carmen, and Patio de la Infanta.
The Bank participated in the Pregón, which featured more than 36,000 attendees, with its own float and the distribution of candies. At the Marionette Park, it distributed over 2,000 gifts and sponsored concerts on the Goya Stage in Plaza del Pilar.
Sports Presence
In the sports arena, 6,500 people attended the six Ibercaja City of Zaragoza Trophies held during the week, which included disciplines such as tennis, Aragonese bar throwing, ball shooting, chess, yolas, and canoeing. More than 1,000 athletes participated in these competitions.
Additional Activities
The Bank was present at the musical stages of the Hispanidad in Plaza del Pilar and the Winter Garden of the Parque Grande. In the «River and Play» space at the Parque del Agua and the parades of Giant Figures and Cabezudos, Ibercaja distributed 50 kilograms of candies among the attending public.
