The Department of Agriculture, Livestock, and Food of the Government of Aragón participated this Monday in the traditional Offering of Fruits to the Virgin of Pilar, one of the most emblematic events of the Fiestas del Pilar in Zaragoza.
An institutional representation delivered a carefully selected array of local foods produced in various regions of Aragón. Fruits, vegetables, wines, oils, ham, and artisan sweets were part of this offering, reflecting the quality, diversity, and authenticity of the Aragón agri-food sector.
The participation was part of the “Aragón, True Flavor” campaign, an initiative that promotes the gastronomic identity of the community, encouraging the consumption of local products both within and outside the Aragón territory.
With this act, the Government of Aragón reaffirmed its commitment to popular traditions, as well as to recognizing the efforts of those who sustain rural areas and add value to the regional economy through agri-food production.
The Offering was not only a symbol of gratitude but also an expression of pride in our heritage, solidifying the presence of Aragón Foods as an ambassador of the quality and authentic flavor of our land.
