Ibercaja Foundation presents «Music to See,» an exhibition that fuses graphic design and sound in Zaragoza
Ibercaja Foundation is showcasing the exhibition «Music to See» in its Youth Space, an artistic project that transforms songs into graphic images. The exhibit, created by Zaragoza-based designer Lidia Roncal, will be open to the public until December 20 and is part of the selected projects in the third edition of the «Ibercaja Foundation Youth Space for Artistic Development» call.
The exhibition invites viewers to contemplate different images accompanied by music. Each of the graphic montages presented originates from a specific musical piece, creating a dialogue between sound and image that visitors interpret through the auditory experience. In this way, the artist makes the invisible visible, conveying the connection that exists between music, time, and perception.
Lidia Roncal (Zaragoza, 1997) is a graphic designer trained with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Market Research from the University of Zaragoza, a postgraduate in Business Management from CESTE, and a Master’s in Graphic Design and Digital Environments from LABASAD School of Arts and Design. She currently works as a graphic designer and event organizer at a Technology Center in Zaragoza, where she has been employed for 4 years. Additionally, she has worked independently with artist Sharif, creating posters, visuals, and audiovisual material for the tour «Days and Electricities».
The third call for Youth Space includes solo exhibitions by 5 artists until the end of 2026, a collective exhibition featuring participation from 2 additional artists, and the intervention of the Community Wall by another 3 artists. This initiative provides visibility to new Aragonese creators and promotes dialogue between contemporary art and the urban environment.
