ITA Launches INNOidea 2026 to Support Tech Startups in Aragón

The Aragón Technological Institute (ITA) has launched the call for INNOidea 2026, a key program aimed at promoting technological entrepreneurship in the region. This initiative, supported by the Government of Aragón, seeks to attract teams of entrepreneurs and technology startups looking to scale their innovations.

A Laboratory of Technological Diversity

INNOidea has established itself as a benchmark within the Aragonese entrepreneurial ecosystem, offering a development environment for startups with less than four years of activity. The program provides access to the vast knowledge and technological resources of the ITA, enabling participants to refine their value propositions and accelerate their growth.

The program’s focus is broad, covering areas such as artificial intelligence applied to socio-health data, renewable energies with a lower environmental impact, and solutions for smart agriculture and livestock management. Proposals in sectors such as real estate, music and musical education, and the development of platforms for personalized children’s stories are also included.

Areas of Innovation and Development

The INNOidea 2026 program not only focuses on emerging technologies but also explores innovations in personalized health, such as breast prostheses and applied genetics studies. Additionally, developments in blockchain for legal and contractual applications, and systems for graffiti authorship identification to protect urban heritage are promoted.

These fields of participation reflect the diversity and potential of Aragonese startups, which can benefit from a collaborative environment and the ITA’s expertise to elevate their projects to the next level.

Financial Support and Program Mission

Pilar Pérez Sierra, coordinator of INNOidea at the ITA, emphasizes the center’s mission to assist companies in adopting advanced technologies, enhancing their competitiveness and generating sustainable impact. The program is funded by the European Union through the Aragón Regional Development Fund Program 2021-2027, with a co-financing of 40%.

This financial support is crucial for startups to develop their projects with greater confidence and access to resources, thus strengthening the technological business landscape of Aragón.
