Instalaza Brings Its C90 Rocket Launcher Family to Colombia

The Aragonese defense industry is once again looking toward the international market. Instalaza has unveiled its family of C90 rocket launchers in Colombia during the eighth edition of the Infantry Science, Innovation, and Technology Meeting, CITINF 2026. The event, held in Bogotá and organized by the Colombian Army, brought together military representatives, researchers, universities, and companies to analyze technologies that are transforming military operations. Instalaza showcased solutions from its C90 family, aimed at missions against armored vehicles and structures, seeking to position them as alternatives for Colombian security and defense forces.

A family of 90-millimeter systems

Among the solutions presented in Colombia are the C90-CR and CS90 versions, which have incorporated improvements in their aiming devices. The new configurations include foldable optical sights and devices compatible with night vision. There is the possibility of having different configurations depending on the type of target, with variants for armored vehicles, dual-purpose use, and structures. There are also configurations with smoke and incendiary effects.

A reusable evolution of the C90

Instalaza is advancing a reusable evolution of the system, incorporating the e-Ivision electro-optical sight with three times magnification and selectable reticles. The sight can be installed using a quick coupling system, enhancing target acquisition speed and precision. The industry is introducing further improvements in aiming systems, incorporating optical and electro-optical capabilities.

Production linked to Zaragoza

Instalaza’s presence at CITINF 2026 highlights its international projection. The company is headquartered in Zaragoza, with facilities in Cadrete. In these centers, variants of the C90, approved by the Spanish Ministry of Defense, are manufactured. The company also has other developments in portable weaponry, standing out at a time when the European defense industry is increasing its activity.

Colombia brings together the international defense industry

CITINF has established itself as a meeting point for the Armed Forces, industry, and research centers. The 2026 edition included conferences and discussion spaces on artificial intelligence, unmanned systems, and digital transformation, featuring international participation from Europe, America, and Asia. For Instalaza, this event is an opportunity to position its C90 family and strengthen its international presence.
