The second Employment Fair organized by Fundación Ibercaja and Cruz Roja will be held on June 10 at Mobility City, Zaragoza, with more than 1,000 registered participants and 55 companies involved, highlighting its relevance in the labor insertion of vulnerable groups.
This initiative is part of the agreement «Together for Employment», aimed at expanding insertion programs for young people, at-risk women, individuals over 45 years old, and long-term unemployed individuals. Additionally, it has the support of the European Social Fund, INAEM, and regional IRPF.
The expansion of the project «Combating Energy Poverty» is also noteworthy, which includes savings kits, practical workshops, and management of assistance for vulnerable families. During 2024, the Cruz Roja Employment Plan assisted 3,948 individuals in Zaragoza, collaborating with 340 companies and achieving a 56% rate of successful job placements.
The event will adopt a speed meeting format, with scheduled quick interviews from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, facilitating direct access to real job offers. The institutional inauguration is planned for 9:30 AM with the presence of representatives from Fundación Ibercaja, Cruz Roja Aragón-Zaragoza, and INAEM.
The collaboration between Fundación Ibercaja and Cruz Roja consolidates a social strategy that combines labor insertion and support for basic needs, reinforcing its impact on the Aragonese community.
