The initiative Map Your Village was launched to gather and preserve the knowledge, experiences, and customs of various localities in Teruel, executed by local municipalities and supported by the Government of Spain, from July 4 to 6.
The main objective of the Map Your Village project is to preserve the culture and traditions of the towns through the voices of their inhabitants. It took place on specific dates in July, covering several localities in the province of Teruel.
Involved Localities
The localities that participated in this initiative include Azaila on July 4, Berge on July 5, and Ariño on July 6. In addition, Alcalá de la Selva, Aliaga, Santa Eulalia del Campo, Allepuz, Peracense, and Monterde de Albarracín also joined.
Collaborating Entities
The municipalities of each of these localities collaborated on the project, along with the Teruel Provincial Council. Additionally, they received institutional support from the Government of Spain, specifically from the Third Vice Presidency of the Government and the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge.
This joint effort not only aims to preserve the cultural identity of these communities but also to promote territorial innovation through citizen participation and institutional collaboration.
