In the second report of 2025, media consumption in Aragón shows a clear leadership of the Internet and outdoor advertising, with notable growth in digital platforms and social media.
Internet and outdoor advertising dominate the media landscape in Aragón, with a penetration rate of 89.9% and 89.2% respectively. Online television and social media have experienced the largest increases, while traditional television has seen a slight decline.
Radio
Cadena SER, while still the leader in audience, has lost 37,000 listeners. On the other hand, COPE has shown significant growth, adding 27,000 new listeners. Morning and sports programs continue to be fundamental pillars of radio programming.
Press
El Heraldo de Aragón has strengthened its position in the market with an increase of 13,000 readers, reaching a share of 10.6%. Other newspapers such as Marca and Diario del Altoaragón have also seen increases in their circulation.
Online Consumption
Instant messaging platforms and social media dominate online consumption, with Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok leading the growth. In terms of video on demand, Netflix and Spotify remain leaders in their respective market sectors.
Outdoor Advertising
Billboards and advertising clocks are the most prevalent formats in the outdoor advertising space. Buses and mupis/opis have shown notable growth, reflecting a diversification in advertiser preferences.
Magazines
Pronto and National Geographic continue to be the most consumed magazines. Both publications, along with Cosmopolitan, have recorded significant increases in their readership.
