More than 120 companies from Aragón are meeting with 26 buyers from 20 countries at Meet the Buyer Aragón 2026, an event that has scheduled more than 380 business meetings to foster agreements and expand the region’s business sector presence abroad.
Meet the Buyer Aragón brings together international buyers and companies from Aragón
The event, organized by Aragón Exterior (AREX) in collaboration with Aragón Alimentos-Aragón, Sabor de Verdad, is being held over two days. One-on-one meetings have been arranged according to the interests of participating buyers and companies, with the aim of facilitating new contracts, business relationships, and commercial opportunities.
The regional minister for Economy, Competitiveness and Employment, Eva Valle, visited the fifth edition of the event alongside Director General Javier Camo. During the event, Valle identified industry and the agri-food sector as among the main drivers of Aragón’s economy, citing their capacity to generate wealth, jobs, and growth in international markets.
The second day will include visits by international buyers to companies in Aragón. The program is designed to give them a firsthand look at their production processes and industrial capabilities, a step aimed at strengthening prospects for commercial collaboration.
Indra expands opportunities for advanced manufacturing and the defense sector
Among the companies attending is Indra, represented by executives from two divisions specializing in metalworking and industrial prototyping. Its participation is creating contacts for Aragón-based companies involved in machining, metalworking, component manufacturing, engineering, and prototype development.
The event therefore includes opportunities in advanced manufacturing, technological innovation, and defense, against a backdrop of strengthening European industrial and technological capabilities related to security. Aragón has a business base equipped to compete in these fields, according to the regional minister.
Valle also highlighted AREX’s role in supporting internationalization, particularly for small and medium-sized businesses. The agency provides contacts and guidance for entering new markets, with company size not intended to be a barrier to expansion abroad.
Magdalenas Lázaro brings its products to Auchan Poland following an earlier edition
The case of Magdalenas Lázaro illustrates the results of previous editions of Meet the Buyer. Through contacts established at the event, the company has placed its products in Auchan supermarkets in Poland.
The company currently exports nearly 90% of its production and operates in around 90 countries. The event is also supported by the Valencia Port Authority, Port de Barcelona, Fundación Ibercaja, and Mobility City.
