For three consecutive days, from May 29 to 31, Zaragoza once again pulsated to the rhythm of Música al Raso, a series that offered free outdoor concerts featuring a wide variety of musical styles. The 2025 edition was held entirely at the Jardín de Invierno del Parque Grande José Antonio Labordeta, a natural setting that has proven to be an ideal venue for such events.
The lineup brought together national and local artists and bands, showcasing styles that ranged from Andalusian rock to a fusion of flamenco, funk, and jazz, along with urban, Latin, and psychedelic sounds. The initiative was a resounding success, attracting a total of 11,500 attendees, despite the variable weather conditions.
The inaugural day, Thursday, May 29, kicked off with Señoras y Bedeles, a Zaragoza-based group that presented their third album Sí a todo to an audience of 1,800 people. Following them, the duo Los Estanques & El Canijo de Jerez captivated 2,300 attendees with their original blend of psychedelia and southern rock.
On Friday, May 30, urban music took center stage with Lia Kali, who brought together 2,800 people, the largest attendance of the series, presenting her album Kaelis. That same day, Xtragos & The Feelmakers delivered a vibrant mix of rap and jazz that attracted 2,000 spectators.
On Saturday, despite the rain, enthusiasm remained high. Ludmila Mercerón & Salsa de Reyes and Patax were the ones to close the series, with 1,500 and 1,100 attendees respectively. Additionally, Ixeya performed earlier at Harinera ZGZ, defying the high temperatures.
Born in 2021 as a response to the pandemic, Música al Raso has solidified its place over these five years as an essential part of Zaragoza’s cultural agenda. Backed by the City Council and supported by Ambar and Ibercaja, this series has presented an accessible, diverse program with its own identity, bringing live music to thousands in a unique natural environment.
