The Fiestas del Pilar 2025 have concluded with a high level of citizen satisfaction, according to the provisional attendance report and the opinion poll commissioned by the Zaragoza City Council. Eight out of ten Zaragoza residents rate the festivities as good or very good, giving an average score of 7.9 out of 10. Attendance has reached 2,686,719 participants, surpassing the figure from 2024 and setting a new record before accounting for the final events on October 13.
The opinion survey conducted on October 12, 2025, reflects that 80.9% of Zaragoza residents rate the festivities as good or very good. Notably, 38.1% rate them as very good, the best figure since the historical series began in 2013. The overall average score of 7.9 improves upon the 2024 record (7.67) and is just a tenth of a point away from the historical maximum (8.005).
Young people under 30 are the most satisfied group, with an average score of 8.74, while those over 60 maintain a more moderate opinion. By gender, men give an average of 8.04 points compared to 7.78 for women.
The poll was conducted by A+M through 1,000 personal interviews in Zaragoza, with a confidence level of 95.5% and a margin of error of ±3.16%.
The children’s programming and traditional events received the highest ratings. The Opening Ceremony and the Offering of Flowers received a 56.4% rating of very good, while the children’s programming achieved 43.4%.
Among municipal services, cleaning reached a record high with 8.59 points, and public safety received a score of 7.9, reaffirming the perception of a safe and well-managed festival. Mobility (6.78) and safe spaces (6.61) remained stable compared to 2024.
The most well-known and frequented venues are the Goya Fountain – Amber Stage, the Fountain of Hispanicity, and River and Play, all with knowledge levels exceeding 90%. The Winter Garden, the Northern Station, and the Xior Space are gaining popularity among younger audiences.
The Offering of Flowers has once again set a new record with 592,000 participants (120,000 offerers and 472,093 attendees), marking an increase of 8.5% in offerers and 15% in audience compared to 2024, making it the largest Offering in history. For the first time, the event extended to October 13, finishing at 00:19 hours.
1,158 groups participated, comprising 106,897 people, an 11.60% increase from the previous year. An additional area of the structure was opened, which is only used on rare occasions for flower placement.
The Offering of Fruits has doubled its audience, increasing from 52,000 people in 2024 to 114,875 in 2025. The number of offerers reached over 3,700, tripling the participation of individual Zaragoza residents to nearly 800.
Mass participation in street events
The street events attracted 2,075,610 attendees, representing 77.25% of the total participation recorded during the festivities. Traditional events gathered 1,061,013 attendees, major venues and concerts drew 478,498, and specialized spaces in plazas and streets attracted 819,320 people.
Highlights include the Food Trucks at San Pablo Park (153,300 people), the Valdespartera Fairground (445,100), and the Valdespartera Oktoberfest (26,041).
Large venues and musical programming
The large venues of the festivities registered excellent attendance figures with 290,161 people. The Zity Space attracted 239,000 people, while the Príncipe Felipe Pavilion hosted 22,568 attendees across three concerts.
The Zaragoza Princess Leonor Auditorium recorded 28,593 attendees in its three halls. The main theaters in the city welcomed more than 25,100 people, with the Congress Palace reaching almost 11,000 attendees.
Concerts at the Amber Stage at Goya Fountain in Plaza del Pilar brought together 184,888 attendees, with the most attended being the Los40 Pop Festival with 37,941 people, followed by Los40 Dance (35,550) and Padre Guilherme (17,070).
Children’s programming and its success
The children’s programs reached 251,522 participants. River and Play led in attendance with 130,000 children, followed by the Puppet Park (29,215 attendees and 7,917 tickets sold, a 10% increase from 2024) and the Puppet Booth (6,623).
The Comparsa de Gigantes y Cabezudos and their children’s slides recorded 85,184 uses. The new León Garganchón became the star attraction with 15,296 participants, surpassing Tragachicos (11,888) and establishing itself as the new children’s icon of the Pilar.
Economic impact and information channels
The estimated average spending per person during the festivities amounts to 200.02 euros, slightly higher than the previous year (191.7 euros), representing an approximate increase of 5% and marking the second highest figure in the historical series.
Citizens primarily find information through friends and family (35.8%), digital media (19.6%), and the printed program (15.4%). Official social media channels are well regarded by 74% of respondents.
Digital presence and social media
The Fiestas del Pilar 2025 generated a total of 10.4 million impressions across various digital platforms. Instagram remains the primary channel with 6.7 million impressions, followed by Facebook with 2.8 million and TikTok with 0.6 million. The municipal networks reached 5.5 million accounts and exceeded half a million interactions.
