This new academic year registers a distribution of over 900 new undergraduate students, approximately 200 master’s students, more than 50 pursuing proprietary degrees, and nearly 200 beginning studies at USJ Sénior. In total, over 5,100 students will be trained this year across the 26 undergraduate programs and 11 dual degrees, eight master’s programs, proprietary degrees, and doctorates offered by the institution.

New Inclusion Program for People with Disabilities

In a notable development, the University is launching the University Program for Sociolaboral Inclusion USJ DIVERSA, aimed at individuals with intellectual disabilities. This program is co-funded by the European Social Fund+ and Fundación ONCE, with the collaboration of Atades and the support of Fundación Down Huesca, beginning its first edition with all 18 spots fully filled.

Welcome Activities and Preparatory Courses

New undergraduate students will participate in a welcome day on September 10, where they will meet fellow classmates and professors, in addition to learning about the available university services. At the same time, the institution is offering zero courses in the Faculty of Health Sciences and the School of Architecture and Technology to reinforce basic knowledge in areas such as chemistry, mathematics, physics, and the use of digital tools.

The University will welcome 109 international students on Erasmus mobility and non-EU students from 58 partner universities located in 21 different countries, including Germany, Italy, the United States, Japan, Mexico, and the United Kingdom, among others. Additionally, 11 students on SICUE mobility from Spanish universities will also join.

Expansion of Academic Offerings

Among the academic novelties is the launch of the master’s program in Biomechanics of Human Locomotion, which is part of an expanded postgraduate offering of eight master’s programs. For the 2026-2027 academic year, the introduction of a new degree in Social Education has been announced, which will strengthen the educational offerings alongside the existing degrees in Early Childhood and Primary Education.

New Facilities and Spaces

The course will be characterized by the inauguration of new training spaces, including a dissection room that will complement the existing Advanced Clinical Skills Space. Additionally, the Learning Lab has been established, featuring three modulable and flexible classrooms, and the Student Hub, designed as a multi-purpose area for collaborative work and student relaxation.
