The San Lorenzo Festival 2025 in Huesca will feature approximately 300 events, highlighting the participation of DJ Andrés Campo and the awarding of the Gold Grill to Huerta Barbereta, with a budget of 906,703 euros.
Prelaurentis (July 11-31)
The preliminary phase of the festivities will include cultural, sporting, and social activities, featuring a dance and pyrotechnics show on July 27 and a special event on July 30 to support the jota’s candidacy for UNESCO heritage status.
Honors and Transition
On July 29, Huerta Barbereta will be honored with the Gold Grill in recognition of its long-standing collaboration with the festival. The events of the Pórtico Laurentino from August 1 to 5 will serve as a prelude to the main festivities.
Main Days (August 9-15)
The festival will officially kick off on August 9 with several civic ceremonies and the participation of the Dancers of Huesca on August 10 and 11. Additionally, a tribute will be paid to Cristóbal and Nati Nogués on August 11.
Musical Program
The musical offerings will be diverse, with performances at the Congress Palace, the Plaza de Navarra, and other venues, featuring artists such as La La Love You, Mägo de Oz, and Don Patricio, among others.
Complementary Activities
The activities will include inflatable parks, a bullfighting fair from August 10 to 14, and various shows and tributes, such as the recognition of Huesca residents living abroad and a tribute to seniors on August 15.
Religious Events
The religious events will include Solemn Completes on August 9, a procession and pontifical mass on August 10, and the Offering of Flowers and Fruits on August 15.
The festivities will conclude with a farewell to the Saint, fireworks, and the final firecracker display in the Plaza de Navarra. Additionally, 2,000 brochures and 8,000 pocket guides will be distributed in various languages.
