Ibercaja Foundation organizes financial education activities from October 6 to 10
The Ibercaja Foundation celebrates Financial Education Week under the slogan Finance for all. Get informed, plan, decide, with numerous activities aimed at different audiences. The program seeks to raise awareness about the importance of finance in daily life and equip individuals with knowledge to make informed and responsible financial decisions.
The programming will begin on Monday, October 6, with the conference Financial Situation in a World of Uncertainty, delivered by Manuel Romera, professor of Financial Management at the Instituto de Empresa. The talk will take place at 7 PM in the Patio de la Infanta with free admission upon prior registration.
On the same Monday, there will be two sessions of the talk Why You Can and Should Invest, led by Natalia de Santiago, a finance author and creator of a financial wellness platform. The sessions will be held at 12 PM in the Patio de la Infanta and at 6 PM in Espacio Joven. The speaker will explain investment concepts, pillars of wealth generation, and ways to multiply money without large amounts or unnecessary risks.
Primary school students will participate in the activity Money, an Unsolved Mystery, also led by Natalia de Santiago on Monday at 10 AM in the Patio de la Infanta. This talk will explain what money is, its origin, historical evolution, and related concepts such as inflation in an accessible and entertaining way.
On Tuesday, October 7, a workshop on inheritances and donations in Aragon will be held at 10:30 AM at the Ibercaja Actur Foundation Center, directed by lawyer and tax advisor Beatriz Porras. Throughout the week, educational programs will be conducted for Secondary and Baccalaureate students, including workshops on cryptocurrencies and entrepreneurship led by Fundación Piquer.
Extension of the program to other cities
The activities will extend beyond Zaragoza, with events scheduled in Huesca, Teruel, Guadalajara, and Logroño. In Huesca, the talk The Financial Health in an Integral Well-being Framework will be presented by economics doctor José Antonio Arce on October 7, while in Teruel, the play The Savings of Jorge and Enriqueta will be presented for primary school students.
This initiative is part of the Funcas Educa program and reflects the Ibercaja Foundation’s commitment to bringing financial concepts to all of society, from the youngest to the elderly, as part of its mission to generate actions that improve the territory and respond to current social needs.
