STEAM GeneratiON Initiative Boosts Digital Careers in Aragón

Fundación hiberus and Ibercaja launch a series of talks to awaken digital vocations among young Aragonese

Fundación hiberus and Fundación Ibercaja have launched STEAM GeneratiON, a new initiative aimed at bringing science, technology, art, and innovation closer to the new generations of Aragon. The program includes three meetings aimed at young people aged between 16 and 30 years in the three provincial capitals of the community.

The purpose of the series is to foster interest in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) disciplines among young Aragonese. The initiative seeks to present young and diverse role models who connect through personal experience, promote active participation, and create networks between young people and professionals in the sector.

The meetings combine inspiring stories from young professionals, discussions, and networking spaces in a close and participatory format. Each session will last two hours and will provide real examples of how technology and creativity become transformative tools.

Event schedule by province

Huesca – October 7
The first event will take place on Tuesday, October 7, at the Fundación Ibercaja Huesca Center under the title Dreaming in digital: from networks to business. Participants will include Patricia Heredia, co-founder of ValPat STEAM and co-founder and CEO of MiniVinci, alongside Cristina Pardeza, head of Adobe Commerce & Magento at hiberus.

Teruel – October 21
The event will continue in Teruel on Tuesday, October 21, with The future begins with your talent at the Fundación Ibercaja Teruel Center. Speakers will include Lorea Montes, founder of Sinnvoll Business Analytics, and Eva Garrido, head of Talent Development at hiberus.

Zaragoza – November 10
The third meeting will be held on Monday, November 10, at the Fundación Ibercaja Youth Space in Zaragoza with the event Beyond technology: the value of people. Participants will include Jorge Terreu, CEO of Maximiliana, and María Rox, head of the Digital Agency at hiberus.

Collaboration framework #TICvolución

This initiative is part of the #TICVolución agreement, which since 2019 has united the efforts of both foundations to promote a more innovative and digital society. Through this alliance, they develop training activities, competitions, workshops, and projects that promote digital employability and technological inspiration in the STEAM field.

STEAM GeneratiON represents a joint commitment to purposeful digital transformation, aimed at preparing new generations and strengthening the skills demanded by the professional future.
