The hiberus Foundation and the Ibercaja Foundation have renewed their partnership for the eighth consecutive year to promote STEAM talent at a national level. This collaboration, which began in 2019, focuses on the #TICVOLUCIÓN program, now expanded beyond Aragon, with the goal of fostering a more digital and educated society.
National Expansion of the #TICVOLUCIÓN Program
Íñigo de Yarza, president of the hiberus Foundation, has noted that the project is now positioning itself nationally, transcending its Aragonese origins. Meanwhile, José Luis Rodrigo, general director of the Ibercaja Foundation, emphasizes the shared concern of both entities in creating real opportunities for new generations. This approach aims to consolidate a broader impact in the educational and professional landscape of the country.
The STEAM GeneratiON cycle is one of the key initiatives, touring three provinces to inspire young people to lead change and drive innovation. This effort aligns with the vision of building a more equitable and informed digital future, as highlighted by the project leaders.
Highlighted Initiatives of the Program
The #TICVOLUCIÓN program includes several activities designed to enhance the digital training and employability of young people. Among them, the Visionary TIC Competition, now in its seventh edition, invites students from the first and second years of secondary education to present innovative projects on future professions. This competition combines creativity, research, and innovation, fostering critical thinking from an early age.
Additionally, the IT Skills Program offers 1,000 spots for training in information technology, aimed at improving the digital employability of participants. On the other hand, the TIC Certification Days provide 450 spots to conduct 1,800 exams, focusing on skills highly demanded by the current job market.
Consolidation of a Strategic Alliance
The renewal of this alliance between the hiberus Foundation and the Ibercaja Foundation strengthens a project that continues to grow, aligned with the challenges of an increasingly digitalized society. Both foundations remain committed to young talent and the development of digital skills, reinforcing their dedication to the training and professional future of new generations.
