The Zuera Town Council, with the support of the Provincial Council of Zaragoza, has presented the second edition of Zuera Sabor, a series of gastronomic events celebrating the culinary wealth of Aragon. Throughout the year, five events will be held that will explore emblematic products such as black truffles, Iberian ham, extra virgin olive oil (EVOO), Aragonese tomatoes and traditional preserves, as well as pairings with wines, beers and sparkling wines. After the success of the first edition, in which tickets were sold out on multiple occasions, this new program is expected to be very well received.
A gastronomic reference in Aragon
The Zuera Sabor 2025 program was announced at a press conference at the Provincial Council of Zaragoza, with the participation of the deputy delegate of Tourism, Cristina Palacín, the mayor of Zuera, José Manuel Salazar, and the director of El Gastrónomo Zaragozano, Miguel Ángel Vicente, coordinator of the event.
Palacín emphasized the importance of these meetings for the province, highlighting that “gastronomy is a great incentive for our province and for Aragon in general, we have excellent products and, in addition, there is a vocation for innovation both in processing companies and in the hospitality sector”.
For his part, the mayor of Zuera, José Manuel Salazar, said that “Zuera Sabor has established itself as a gastronomic benchmark in Aragon, highlighting not only our gastronomy, but also the impact it has on the cultural and economic identity of the province”. He also thanked the Provincial Council of Zaragoza for its support of initiatives that “strengthen the cultural and economic fabric of the region”.
