The Aragonese delegation explores future technologies at the NTT Data pavilion in Osaka.
The institutional delegation from the Government of Aragón visited the NTT Data pavilion at the World Expo in Osaka to learn about future communication technologies. The purpose of the visit was to explore the possibilities offered by advanced connectivity solutions and to emphasize the importance of technological innovation.
The Aragonese delegation included the Vice President of the Government of Aragón, Mar Vaquero; the manager of Aragón Exterior (AREX), Javier Camo; the Councillor for the Environment and Tourism, Manuel Blasco; and the General Director of Tourism and Hospitality, Jorge Moncada. They were accompanied by the Senior Manager of NTT Data, Kenji Motohashi; the global head of generative digital AI at the company, Carlos Galve; and the Director of NTT Data Zaragoza, María Jesús Cáncer.
The pavilion presents the concept of Parallel Travel, which proposes a journey through space and time using the next-generation IOWN telecommunications infrastructure. This technology allows for connecting remote spaces and locations, making it possible to share the same environment beyond physical distance and to experience a real sense of presence among geographically separated individuals.
The visit allowed the Aragonese delegation to gain firsthand knowledge of this vision for the future of communication, presented as an interactive exhibition experience. The NTT Data pavilion demonstrates how advances in telecommunications open new opportunities for digital transformation and the creation of connected environments that transcend physical barriers.
The technological commitment reflected in this pavilion aligns with the strategy of Aragón, which has positioned itself as an attractive territory for implementing innovation and digitalization projects on a global scale.
