The Confederation of Hospitality and Tourism Entrepreneurs of Aragon (CEHTA) has announced the winning projects of the Social Sustainability Plan Awards for Tourism in Aragon in the categories of Circular Economy and Km0 and Social Investment.
The event, held at CEHTA’s headquarters in Zaragoza, was attended by the organization’s president, Fernando Martín, and the director of the Social Sustainability Plan for Tourism in Aragon, Alfredo Cortés, who emphasized the importance of promoting a more sustainable tourism model that is committed to the region.
Awardees in Circular Economy and Km0
This category recognized projects that promote waste reduction and energy efficiency.
- Zaragoza Camping: The project focuses on eliminating single-use packaging and on-site energy self-consumption.
- Grupo Hostelero Cinca Medio – Mas Farré: Implements measures to eliminate plastics and supports local products.
- La Torre Restaurante: Concentrated on local cuisine and responsible practices.
Awardees in Social Investment
The Social Investment category recognizes initiatives that positively impact local communities.
- Camping Laspaúles: Its community integration model offers services open to the municipality.
- Hotel Ibis Styles Zaragoza: Developed an initiative based on donating furniture to social organizations.
- Viajes Godó: Recognized for its project on the tourism valorization of the «Línea P».
With these awards, CEHTA reinforces its commitment to a sustainable tourism model that supports the development of Aragon.
