Breakfasts in Zaragoza Hotels Spotlight Aragonese Cuisine with «Aragon, True Flavor» Campaign

The campaign «Aragón, Taste of Truth,» launched by Horeca Hoteles Zaragoza and province, aims to highlight the differentiated quality foods from Aragón in the breakfasts of 28 hotels in Zaragoza and its province. This initiative, in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Food of the Government of Aragón, seeks to allow visitors to discover the territory through its flavors from the very start of the day.

Linking tourism, gastronomy, and local products

Under the motto «Aragón, Taste of Truth,» the campaign is deployed in 28 hotels across Zaragoza and its province. Breakfasts become a showcase for the Foods of Aragón, highlighting their origin and quality. This initiative positions hotel breakfasts as a gateway to local gastronomy, enabling visitors to easily identify Aragonese products.

The dedicated spaces in the breakfast rooms are designed for guests to appreciate the uniqueness of these products, thereby reinforcing the link between tourism, hospitality, and the agri-food sector.

Products with quality and origin seals

The campaign places special emphasis on Aragonese products with Protected Designations of Origin (PDO), Protected Geographical Indications (PGI), organic production, and the C’alial seal. Among the highlights are the Jamón de Teruel PDO, Ternasco de Aragón PGI, Aceite del Bajo Aragón PDO, Melocotón de Calanda PDO, and wines from the Aragonese designations of origin.

These products not only represent the culinary richness of Aragón but also reflect the tradition and productive excellence of the region, offering visitors an authentic and distinctive culinary experience.

Campaign objectives and participation of Horeca Hoteles

The campaign aims to strengthen the destination’s quality image, support the primary sector, and promote local consumption. Horeca Hoteles Zaragoza and province, founded in 1977, is the organization behind this initiative. The association represents the entrepreneurs in the hospitality sector of the province and acts as an intermediary with the administration and other institutions.

The action takes place in 28 establishments, including urban hotels and accommodations in iconic locations such as the Monasterio de Piedra. This joint strategy with the Government of Aragón seeks to highlight the Aragonese agri-food pantry, bringing visitors a gastronomic experience linked to the territory and its producers.
