Spanish company EM&E is presenting three new unmanned ground vehicles at the ninth edition of the Spanish Army’s 2E+I Forum, being held in Toledo on September 30 and October 1, 2026. The Aunav Mule, Aunav Spear, and Aunav Link systems address a range of applications, from logistics support and casualty evacuation to ground attack and fire support.
Hybrid propulsion and explosive payload
The Aunav Mule is a lightweight, compact vehicle with a 4×4 configuration and hybrid propulsion. Designed as a multimission platform, it can be used for logistics support, casualty evacuation, breaching, mine-laying, and counter-unmanned aerial system operations.
The Mule can complete a mission using electric propulsion to reduce its acoustic signature or use an additional generator when greater operational range is required. Its design can accommodate different modules depending on the assigned mission.
The Aunav Spear, also lightweight and compact, is designed as a single-use vehicle operating as a loitering ground munition. It can carry an explosive payload to the target and detonate it remotely or on impact. EM&E envisages its use against targets for which unmanned aerial vehicles may be less suitable.
A carbon-fiber weapon station
The third development, the Aunav Link, is designed to provide direct fire support to ground units. EM&E showcased an initial version at UNVEX and is presenting in Toledo a new configuration of its remote weapon station, made of carbon fiber to reduce the overall system’s weight.
The station features self-stabilization in elevation and azimuth. It also incorporates artificial intelligence functions to detect, classify, track, and predict targets, while enabling supervised engagement against stationary or moving targets.
EM&E’s participation in the dynamic demonstration is rounded out by the latest configuration of Aracne, the counter-unmanned aerial system solution developed jointly with Indra. The system is integrated on the Ferox armored vehicle and incorporates a Guardian L-HIT weapon station.
