Gastropasión 2026 kicks off in Zaragoza with over 50 culinary proposals that blend tradition and innovation, attracting both locals and tourists during Holy Week. This event, running from March 28 to April 6, aims to establish Zaragoza and its province as a national gastronomic reference.
A Culinary Journey of Tradition and Innovation
Organized by Horeca Restaurantes Zaragoza, Gastropasión 2026 offers a gastro tour that combines traditional recipes with a contemporary twist. The special menus, available at a fixed price and including beverages, allow diners to enjoy iconic dishes such as cod and Lenten stews. All information regarding the culinary proposals can be found at www.gastropasion.com.
Among the highlighted delights are the cod cannelloni with honey and pine nuts, low-temperature cod ajoarriero with Fuentes de Ebro DOP onion, and caramelized brioche bread torrijas. These dishes not only delight the palate but also keep traditional Lenten recipes alive, integrating high-quality local products.
Collaboration and Institutional Support
The event is supported by the Coordinating Board of Brotherhoods of Holy Week in Zaragoza, the Zaragoza City Council-Zaragoza Tourism, and various regional institutions such as the Government of Aragón and the Provincial Council. This institutional backing underscores the importance of Gastropasión as an economic and cultural engine for the region.
José María Lasheras, president of Horeca Restaurantes Zaragoza, expressed his gratitude to the participating establishments, highlighting the creativity and talent of the professionals in the sector. «We are confident that we will exceed expectations once again,» said Lasheras, reflecting the optimism and confidence in the event’s success.
Gastropasión 2026 not only celebrates the culinary richness of Zaragoza but also reinforces its commitment to local products, positioning itself as a reference gastronomic destination. This initiative not only supports the economy of the hospitality sector but also promotes the cultural heritage of the region.
