Ibercaja has been recognized as one of the best employers in Spain in 2026 by the Top Employers Institute. This prestigious recognition validates the bank’s excellence in its human resources practices and people management, highlighting its ability to create a high-performance work environment.
Areas of Excellence in People Management
The audit conducted by the Top Employers Institute highlights several areas where Ibercaja excels. These include employer branding and talent attraction, as well as onboarding and support for new employees. Additionally, the bank distinguishes itself through its focus on well-being and comprehensive care for individuals, supported by solid ethics and integrity.
The purpose and values of Ibercaja are aligned with its corporate culture, which is reflected in a systematic listening approach with a continuous improvement focus. Recognition of employee performance and contributions, along with a strong commitment to sustainability and society, are also fundamental pillars of its management.
Boost in Hiring and Professional Development
With over 5,200 employees at the end of 2025, Ibercaja has boosted its hiring within the framework of the Strategic Plan Now Ibercaja 2024-2026. In this context, it has incorporated 320 new professionals on a permanent basis and over 150 temporarily. The new employment website launched in April allows visibility of the profile needs in the various territories where it operates.
This platform reflects Ibercaja’s corporate purpose: to help people build the story of their lives, because it will be our story, alongside its values of closeness, authenticity, vocation, and drive.
