INAEM offers €1.5 million in scholarships for unemployed individuals in 2026

The Aragonese Institute of Employment (INAEM) has launched a call for scholarships and financial aid for unemployed individuals participating in job training during 2026. With a budget of 1,500,000 euros, this initiative aims to eliminate the economic barriers that hinder access to labor training.

Types of Scholarships and Aid for Unemployed Individuals

INAEM has designed various types of scholarships and aid to meet the specific needs of applicants. Among them are scholarships for people with disabilities, offering 9 euros per day of attendance to those with a recognized disability of at least 33% or who are pensioners due to permanent disability.

Additionally, scholarships have been established for groups at risk of exclusion, with 9 euros daily for special groups and 10 euros for women who are victims of gender-based violence. There is also assistance for work-life balance of 15 euros daily for unemployed individuals with children under 12 years old or dependent relatives.

Transport aid ranges from 0.15 euros per kilometer for personal vehicle use to 1.50 euros daily for public transport. Regarding sustenance, up to 12 euros daily is offered for training that takes place more than 50 km away. For courses requiring travel more than 100 km from the usual residence, assistance of up to 80 euros daily is provided for accommodation and sustenance.

Application Process and Management of Aid

Those interested in accessing these scholarships and aid must submit their applications individually through a specific form available on the electronic headquarters of the Administration of Aragon. The training entities will collaborate in the management and may collect applications from authorized students.

In the case of applications submitted by women who are victims of gender-based violence, they will be processed directly at the INAEM employment offices. Furthermore, the institution has made available to applicants a student guide and a scholarship simulator on its website to facilitate the process.
