MotorLand Aragón has made history by welcoming 15,000 visitors during the Eurocrew event, establishing itself as an unmissable date on the automotive calendar. This increase in attendance not only reflects the success of the event but has also boosted the local economy, with hotel occupancy extending up to 30 kilometers around.
Eurocrew: A Show of Engines and Adrenaline
The Arena Zone became the heart of Eurocrew, attracting fans with thrilling drift exhibitions and the new addition of Freestyle Motocross. The adrenaline remained high with a nighttime motorcycle jump show, culminating in an impressive Parade featuring over 170 vehicles taking a controlled lap around the circuit.
This array of activities not only captured the interest of attendees but also reinforced MotorLand’s position as a leader in large-scale automotive events.
Economic and Touristic Impact in the Region
The event not only drew motor enthusiasts but also invigorated the local economy. The recently remodeled MotorLand restaurant and the paddock’s dining area were bustling throughout the event, as were the tents in the commercial area. This influx of visitors, mainly from Aragón, Madrid, and Catalonia, had a positive impact on the hospitality sector in Bajo Aragón.
Nieves Ballestero, manager of the Association of Hospitality Entrepreneurs of Bajo Aragón, highlighted that occupancy was «very good,» reflecting the event’s success in terms of tourist attraction and economic vitality.
MotorLand Competition Calendar
Following the success of Eurocrew, MotorLand Aragón is preparing to kick off its winter racing season with the Winter Series by Gedlich Racing on March 7 and 8, followed by the Spanish Winter Championship on March 14 and 15. These events promise to continue attracting motor enthusiasts and maintain the trend of growth and dynamism in the region.
