The 20th edition of the Old and Antique Book Fair in Zaragoza has begun with great anticipation, bringing together 11 specialized bookstores in Plaza de Aragón. This event, which runs until April 12, has become a benchmark for paper collecting enthusiasts in the Aragonese capital.
A Diverse Offer for Collectors and Curious Minds
The fair features the participation of 11 bookstores from different regions of Spain, such as Librería Prólogo from Huesca, Luces de Bohemia from Zaragoza, and Russafa from Valencia, among others. Attendees have the opportunity to explore a wide range of materials, from ancient and out-of-print books to engravings, maps, and vintage magazines. This diversity of offerings allows collectors and the curious to find unique pieces of great historical value.

The event was inaugurated by the General Director of Culture, Pedro Olloqui, and the president of ALVADA, Pablo Parra. During his speech, Olloqui highlighted the relevance of the new classicism in which analog media is gaining importance again, emphasizing the role of the people of Aragon in this cultural renaissance. The writer and playwright Adolfo Ayuso Roy, who served as the herald, praised the figure of the bookseller and the characteristics that make ancient books valuable, underscoring their importance in the preservation of cultural heritage.

The fair is open to the public every day from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The organization expects to receive between 40,000 and 50,000 visitors during the event, reflecting the growing interest in collecting books and old printed materials.
