The 2026 Pilar Bullfighting Fair has set its prices and sales schedule. Tickets for the traditional vaquillas events held during Zaragoza’s festivities are available for €14, while those wishing to attend the bullfights will have to wait until September 28 to buy individual tickets.
La Misericordia bullring will host its program from October 10 to 18, coinciding with the Pilar Festival. Alongside bullfights and morning vaquillas events, the schedule includes popular competitions featuring roscaderos, recortadores and emboladores, as well as a Grand Prix and a cattle run involving tame bulls.
Tickets are sold through the Zaragoza Bullring website, which directs buyers to the Bacantix platform, as well as in person at La Misericordia’s box office.
Vaquillas every morning from October 11 to 18
Vaquillas will return to the bullring each morning at 8 a.m., from Sunday, October 11, through Sunday, October 18. General admission costs €14.
Prices vary for the other popular events. General admission for the Grand Prix costs €14; the emboladores competition costs €17; and the Spanish Championship of Recortadores with Rings costs €18.
Other events, including the Spanish Roscaderos Championship, the Spanish Goya-Style Championship of Bull Recortes, and the Bull Recortes Competition with Fire Bulls, have general-admission tickets priced at €16. In these cases, the best seats can cost up to €22 for ringside seating.
The popular program also includes an event for minors. The vaquillas for minors will take place on Wednesday, October 14, at 10 a.m.
Season tickets from €110.70, including a youth option
Ticket sales for the fair have been organized in several phases. Season-ticket renewals and exchanges will run from September 14 to 19, while new season tickets can be purchased from September 21 to 26. Individual tickets for bullfighting events will go on sale starting on September 28.
The cheapest general season ticket costs €110.70, plus handling fees, in the upper tier. At the other end of the scale, ringside seats in shaded sections 1, 2, 3 and 8 cost €1,017.
A youth season ticket will also be available for those aged 25 and under, priced at €65 in Upper Tier 6.
These season tickets provide access to the fair’s seven main events: one novice bullfight with picadors, five bullfights and one mounted bullfight.
Bullfight tickets from €19
For bullfights, individual ticket prices will vary by location. The cheapest tickets start at €19 in the upper tiers of sunny sections 5 and 6, while a ringside seat in shaded sections 1, 2, 3 and 8 can cost up to €185.
Between those two extremes, different price categories apply depending on the section and row. The novice bullfight with picadors and the mounted bullfight have different rates.
This year’s Pilar Fair will feature names including Morante de la Puebla, who will perform on two afternoons, José María Manzanares, Alejandro Talavante, Miguel Ángel Perera, Daniel Luque, Emilio de Justo, Sebastián Castella and Diego Urdiales. Aragón-based participants include Cristiano Torres, Aarón Palacio and El Mene, who will take his alternativa—the ceremony marking his elevation to full matador status—on October 17.
The mounted bullfight on Sunday, October 18, will close the fair, featuring Rui Fernandes, Diego Ventura and Duarte Fernandes.
Where to buy tickets
In addition to online sales, La Misericordia’s box office will be open Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The organizers have set specific hours for event days. Official information from the bullring states that tickets for popular events can be purchased at the box office continuously from 7 a.m. on the day of each event.
The combination of bullfights, mounted bullfights, vaquillas and popular competitions will once again keep La Misericordia active for virtually the entire Pilar Festival, from early-morning vaquillas events to performances scheduled as late as 11 p.m.
