San Jorge University and BTConsortium Launch the Third Edition of the Chief Transformation Officer Program
San Jorge University, in collaboration with BTConsortium, presented on June 25, 2025, a new edition of its expert title Chief Transformation Officer (CTO), a pioneering program designed to train executives capable of leading comprehensive business transformation processes. The training combines online methodology with a week of in-person sessions in Zaragoza.
Program Features
The title is aimed at professionals at the executive and managerial level, middle management, leaders of strategic projects, business process managers, and entrepreneurs. The program seeks to provide leadership skills and tools for management, business transformation, strategic direction, digitalization, and organizational culture.
The training will run from November 6, 2025, to March 8, 2026, with synchronous online sessions on Thursdays and Fridays from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. It includes a week of in-person sessions from May 4 to May 8, 2026, in Zaragoza.
Methodology and Academic Approach
Integrative Business Transformation Methodology (TEI®)
The program applies the TEI® methodology developed by BTConsortium, which integrates five dimensions: strategy, management, digitalization, organization, and culture. The training adopts a «learning by doing» approach with practical cases that allow for the direct application of concepts to real business situations.
The educational experience includes keynote speeches, analysis of business transformation cases in American and European contexts, personalized executive coaching, and networking with industry professionals.
Testimonials from Program Leaders
Institutional Perspective
Silvia Carrascal, rector of San Jorge University, highlighted the pioneering nature of the program initially launched in January 2024: «When we launched this pioneering program, we did so with a clear vision: to respond to the emerging demand for professionals capable of leading organizational transformation with an impact on people, processes, and organizational efficiency.»
Miguel Galván, founder and CEO of BTConsortium, emphasized the program’s comprehensive perspective: «There are other excellent programs focused on very specific areas like technology or data analysis, but none manages to integrate business transformation from a holistic and systemic perspective.» Galván also noted the growing incorporation of the CTO profile as a strategic business action.
Alumni Experiences
Ángela Arranz, Director of Administration and Finance at Mondo Ibérica and a graduate of the second cohort, explained her motivation: «I chose to take this program because I was coming from a situation where I had all the information, but I lacked the tools; my training was primarily technical, and I wanted to delve into strategy and leadership.»
Alejandro Villarroya, from Ebro Chemical Industries and also a graduate of the second cohort, defined the program as one that «transforms its community so that it can transform its businesses.»
Practical Information about the Training
The program includes a faculty of academic experts and active professionals with experience in transformation, leadership, organizational culture, and strategy.
