Social Work Students Visit INAEM to Explore Employment Opportunities

Social Work Students Visit INAEM to Learn about Employability

On November 5, 2025, the Minister of Employment, Science, and Universities, Claudia Pérez Forniés, visited the headquarters of the Aragonese Employment Institute to host students from the University of Zaragoza. This was an extraordinary class where 40 second-year students from the Social Work Degree moved their academic session outside the university facilities.

The students, accompanied by their professor Juan David Gómez, conducted their class on «Social Welfare Systems» at the INAEM premises. During this session, they learned about the organization’s functioning in training, promotion, and labor intermediation, with special attention given to programs aimed at vulnerable groups. They also had the opportunity to visit the Advanced Technologies Center (CTA) of the institute.

Pérez Forniés emphasized the value of these academic initiatives that bring university students closer to the labor and social realities they will face in the near future. In her speech, she highlighted the priority that the Government of Aragón places on vulnerable individuals, exemplifying with concrete data: she mentioned the existence of 71 special employment centers with a budget of 20 million euros aimed at improving the employability of over 3,000 people.

The minister encouraged the students to continue their education at the University of Zaragoza, known for its excellence, looking towards a promising labor future.
