Expectations of the international market: During a presentation with the media, Julia Pesenti from the Italian company Groma, SRL, one of the participants, expressed her interest in the event, stating that it is «very interesting to have the opportunity to learn in detail about the qualities of Ham Teruel without having to travel». Regarding the potential of the product in Italy, Pesenti was emphatic: «I see a lot of potential for Ham Teruel in a country where there is already a strong consumption habit».
Fifth Edition of the Agro-food Products Fair
On September 13 and 14, the fifth edition of this fair will be held at the Glorieta, organized in collaboration with the Institutional Fair of the City of Teruel.
Business participation: The fair will bring together 13 agro-food companies from Teruel, which will offer a wide range of local products: ham, cured meats, cheeses, truffles and derivatives, olive oil and olives, peaches, mushrooms, honey, vegetable preserves, creams and sauces, products made with garnacha, craft beers, and wine.
Complementary activities: The event will include recreational activities such as the Taberna del Sabor, the Jam-On-Fest festival, and children’s entertainment, with the goal of attracting as many visitors and buyers as possible.
Institutional Collaboration
The initiatives have been developed in collaboration with the Regulatory Council of the Protected Designation of Origin Ham of Teruel and the City Council of Teruel.
