Just one week before the event, Aragón is finalizing the details of its annual meeting on innovation and digital transformation, which will bring together thousands of executives, companies, and professionals from April 14 to 16 at the Palacio de Congresos.
Zaragoza is already in full countdown mode. In exactly seven days, The Wave 2026 will once again take over the Palacio de Congresos in Zaragoza, solidifying its position as one of the most relevant technology conferences in southern Europe and a national benchmark in business innovation.
Following the resounding success of the previous edition—which attracted over 15,000 attendees, more than 250 speakers, and nearly 150 public and private entities—the third edition arrives with greater ambition: Japan as the guest country, five distinct areas designed to maximize business value, and the novelty of The Wave Data Centers in collaboration with DCD, a parallel event specializing in digital infrastructure.
A renewed format focused on results
The Wave 2026 has redesigned its experience around five key spaces aimed at going beyond typical conferences:
- Planet Zero: The main central stage where strategic challenges of technology and digital transformation will be discussed.
- Expo Horizon: An exhibition area where companies will showcase real and applicable solutions, with a special focus on the Japan Tech District.
- Lunar Lab: A practical laboratory featuring workshops, hands-on sessions, and experimentation with the most advanced technologies.
- Nebula Lounge: A premium networking space for executives and high-level meetings.
- Outdoor Stage / Exoplanet: An outdoor area that gains prominence this year, featuring experiences, food trucks, and a more relaxed atmosphere to close the days.
The days of April 14 and 15 will be mainly reserved for professional and business audiences, with confirmed attendance from giants like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, Telefónica, Hiberus, Integra, Ibercaja, and TDG, among others. On April 16, it will open to the general public, with workshops, success stories, and a closing session led by popular content creator Jordi Wild.
Aragón, a booming tech hub
The celebration of The Wave coincides with a peak moment for Aragón as a destination for technology investments. With over 90 billion euros announced in the sector and a strong push in data centers, the region is positioning itself as one of the most attractive locations in southern Europe for international operators and investors.
Specifically, the new The Wave Data Centers in Mobility City will complement the main program, attracting key decision-makers in the digital infrastructure sector on April 14 and 15 (expo area) and on April 16 (professional day by invitation).
The Vice President of Aragón, Mar Vaquero, has described this event as “the perfect metaphor for the moment Aragón is experiencing”: a wave that does not stop and gains strength by incorporating new currents of innovation.
For companies, executives, and professionals looking not only to hear about trends but to generate real business, international alliances, and competitive advantage, The Wave 2026 presents itself as an unmissable appointment.
Registration remains open at waveshow.es.
Zaragoza is ready. In one week, the city will again be the point where European technology and Asian innovation converge to define the future of the business landscape.
