The Official Gazette of Aragón publishes the second call for the The Wave Plus Plan, a strategic initiative of the Government of Aragón aimed at improving the employability and professional qualifications of workers through technological Vocational Training for Employment. This call is endowed with 3 million euros and is expected to benefit up to 1,500 working individuals.
The training activities are primarily directed at employed workers, allowing participation from unemployed individuals up to a limit of 30%. Specific priority will be given to certain groups such as young people under 35 years old, women, low-qualified individuals, workers from SMEs, people with disabilities, and victims of gender-based violence or terrorism.
The training includes more than 400 training actions that will be taught online or via teletraining, with mandatory in-person sessions for evaluation, thus facilitating the participation of active workers through flexible scheduling.
The eligible programs are divided into two main categories: transversal training programs, which include competencies applicable to multiple economic sectors, and sectorial training programs for specific qualification needs. The sectors covered include: Agriculture and Food Industries, Commerce, Marketing and Logistics, Metal and Manufacturing Industries, Hospitality and Tourism, Transportation and Social Services.
Application Process and Deadlines
Training entities accredited by the INAEM or by the State Register of Training Entities may apply for these grants within five business days from the official publication. Management will be carried out exclusively electronically through the electronic headquarters of the Government of Aragón, and courses may be delivered until September 30, 2026.
The funds come from the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, managed by the INAEM in collaboration with accredited training centers and entities. This action is part of the The Wave Plus Plan, which has a total investment of nearly 13 million euros planned for the last quarter of the year, aimed at reaching approximately 30,000 people.
