This weekend, Torralba de Ribota and Daroca will become cultural epicenters with free music and dance performances, as part of the «Aragón, land of culture» program. This initiative aims to promote Aragonese culture through the dissemination of local talents.
Intimate Concert in Torralba de Ribota
The Church of San Félix Mártir in Torralba de Ribota will host the concert «Re-Cordis,» scheduled for Saturday at 6:30 PM. This event will feature Laura Blossom and David Pellejer, who will provide an intimate musical experience. The repertoire will include boleros by Armando Manzanero, works by Mon Laferte, and Spanish pop classics such as «Y si fuera ella» by Alejandro Sanz, as well as the bossa nova «The Girl from Ipanema.»
Laura Blossom, known for her versatility, is the founder of the Icarus Actores company and has excelled in productions such as «Peter Pan» and «Cabaret Oriental.» In 2024, she was awarded the Best Female Performance Prize at the Belchite Film Festival, and in 2025 she won first prize at the Corita Viamonte Spanish Music Competition.
On the other hand, David Pellejer, with a notable background as a composer, was a fellow at the Navarra Symphony Orchestra in 2013/2014. His compositions have resonated at international festivals such as the Open Space Festival of New Music in Colorado and the Auditorium of Zaragoza. Additionally, he is the winner of the First Prize of the FIDAH Foundation Chamber Competition.
Intensity and Emotion in Daroca
In Daroca, the cultural center will welcome the dance show «Rasmia» on Sunday at 5:30 PM, starring dancer Miguel Ángel Berna. This performance promises an hour of intense dance, where the castanets play a central role, accompanied by live musicians.
Berna describes his performance as «a fight with yourself of life or death,» emphasizing the solitude of the stage as a catalyst for emotions that seeks to move the audience. Berna’s proposal is a demonstration of the power of dance to convey deep sensations and connect with the audience.
