The Zaragoza Jazz Festival reaches its 40th edition surrounded by great figures.

Jazz is one of the most important musical genres of the 20th century, and it is a style that continues to evolve today. The Zaragoza Jazz Festival, which celebrates its 40th edition, is a sample of the talent and creativity that continues to generate this genre.

From Friday, November 10 through Sunday, November 19, the Zaragoza Auditorium will be filled with the sound of jazz greats. The program is spectacular and features some of the most important musicians of the moment.

The festival will begin with the Japanese pianist Hiromi Uehara and her new project, «Hiromi’s Sonicwonder». On Saturday, pianist and singer Jazzmeia Horn, who is being compared to jazz legends such as Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday, will be one of the big surprises of the edition.

But there is much more to this festival. Guitarist Mike Stern, Niño Josele’s «Éxtasis» project with Chik Corea and Rubén Blades, and the celebration of Tete Montoliú’s 90th anniversary with Ignasi Terraza Trío and Perico Sambeat are just some of the performances to look forward to.

There will also be room for the little ones, with the «Jazz for Kids/Jazz en Familia» sessions to be held on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 in the Auditorium’s Sala Luis Galve.

Season tickets for the six concerts are on sale for 170€, while individual tickets range between 32€ and 40€ per concert. It is a unique opportunity to enjoy live jazz and discover why it is still such an exciting musical genre. Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy the 40th edition of the Zaragoza Jazz Festival.
