Ejea de los Caballeros Hosts the Third Musical Coexistence Day

The CEIP Ferrer y Racaj in Ejea de los Caballeros will be the venue for the third Coexistence Day among Centers with Integrated Music Curriculum, an event aimed at strengthening shared musical education and fostering relationships among students in the region.

Musical and Educational Activities

On this day, students from 3rd to 6th grade of Primary Education at CEIP Ferrer y Racaj and CRA La Huecha in Magallón will participate in a series of activities designed to promote cultural and educational exchange. These activities include presentations, material exchanges, and joint rehearsals, culminating in a pedagogical concert at 12:00 PM at the El Gancho Amphitheater in the La Llana neighborhood.

The concert will not only be an opportunity for students to showcase their musical skills, but also for them to experience music as a tool for social cohesion and personal development.

Impact of the Integrated Music Curriculum

Since 2016, CEIP Ferrer y Racaj and CRA La Huecha have been implementing the Integrated Music Curriculum. This educational program seeks to integrate music as a central element of learning, promoting inclusion and motivation among students. The Coexistence Day reflects the commitment of these schools to musical education, especially in rural areas where challenges are greater.

The event underscores the importance of music in the holistic development of students, becoming a fundamental pillar of their academic and personal formation.

Institutional Presence and Local Support

The day will feature the presence of various authorities, including Marta Oriol from the General Directorate of Educational Policy of the Government of Aragon, and Tatiana del Val from the School Choirs program. Also attending will be Teresa Vázquez, reference inspector; Juana Teresa Guilleme, first deputy mayor of the Ejea de los Caballeros City Council; Yolanda Roldán, councilor for Education; and Asun Pueyo, director of the Ejea Teacher Center.

The participation of these figures underscores the institutional and local support for initiatives promoting musical education and collaboration among educational centers, thereby strengthening the educational and cultural fabric of the community.
