The Aragonese Employment Institute (INAEM) has launched a grant program totaling 675,000 euros aimed at strengthening stable employment in cooperatives and labor societies in Aragon. This initiative, framed within the FSE+ Aragon 2021–2027 Program, seeks to consolidate business projects with the support of the European Union and the Government of Aragon.
Support for the Incorporation of Worker Partners
The first line of grants is directed towards the indefinite incorporation of unemployed individuals or those with temporary contracts, as well as the transformation of fixed-term worker partners into indefinite ones. The aid ranges from 5,500 to 9,000 euros, with additional increases of up to 1,000 euros for certain groups, thereby incentivizing job stability.
Promotion of Business Competitiveness
The second line of funding focuses on improving the competitiveness of cooperatives and labor societies through investments in both tangible and intangible assets. These grants cover up to 50% of the costs of acquiring assets, with a limit of 20,000 euros per entity. Investments must be executed within the first five years of operation, thus ensuring a significant initial boost.
Technical Assistance for Business Development
The third line of grants is dedicated to technical assistance, ranging from hiring directors or managers to conducting feasibility studies and audits. The subsidy covers up to 75% of the costs of these services, with a maximum of 20,000 euros over five years, providing crucial specialized support for business management.
These grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, until the available funds are exhausted, with specific application deadlines for each line of aid. This approach aims to ensure that the most prepared entities with viable projects access the necessary resources for their development.
